AMAZON RAINFOREST
Concept Statement: "Lungs of the World"
The Amazon rainforest has always been a desired destination for travellers seeking the adventure of a lifetime. It is considered the largest rainforest in the world with numerous species of plants and animals. Situated in the heart of South America, it covers over five and a half million kilometres of land reaching into nine different countries. The Amazon rainforest has often been called the lungs of the earth, and together with the oceans they are considered the world’s largest recycling unit for converting carbon dioxide into oxygen. It is said the Amazon alone produces about 20% of the world’s oxygen.
The travel brochure was created for travellers seeking the ultimate journey. The bold colours used portray the look and feel of South American culture. Each spread layout was designed with a large circular stamp-like illustration and an image in the centre that acts as the main focus.
