SEVEN GROUNDS
Concept Statement: "Gentlemen of the Pitch"
The Seven Grounds project is a high-end Leather cleaning kit for Polo players. The story behind the concept focuses on a Polo Club established in England by the Earl Bathurst. The Earl had a keen interest in the sport and decided to create a Polo Club near his great country home. The Polo Club began with one ground and as time passed, it grew with more grounds added by the Earl’s descendants. The Polo Club flourished and grew to Seven Grounds becoming the largest in the country. Through time, Seven Grounds hosted the greatest polo championships in England. To this day, Seven Grounds continues to be a prestigious club, rich in polo history.
The cleaning kit consists of leather cleaners, restoring solutions, creams, premium polish, and polishing brushes. Each label was designed with the figure of a famous Polo champion player from the Seven Grounds Polo Club. The photographs and signatures on each label were designed to look vintage to create a sense of history. The dark containers simulate the strong leather while producing high contrast with the white background on the labels.
